~~~~~~~-+:+- THE XEMNAS SASUKE/NERO REPORT -+:+-~~~~~~~

Yes, it seems I have been typecast... =_= xD I have been asked specifically for Nero once again. It seems I must have overdid it or something in the begining and now thats who I shall be known for in the cosplay community for a long time! xD Some people, I have been told, ONLY know me as Nero coz they never asked my name/nickname and haven't seen any of my other cosplays yet! xD Oh well... xD

*lillytuft came to visit me yesterday in Kingston while I was at my fiancé ~jasian86's flat. ^^ She came along to give me an invite to her 21st B-day party, and to generally get out of Egham for a while! We went out to the park to enjoy the day while the boys played football (dunno HOW they didn't get bored after 10mins, but oh, well, simple things! xD ) Then we went and got all my things from the flat to go to Troc! ^^ (I was leaving for Romford again after Ninjutsu, so I had to take all 3 bags of my rubbish with me... =_= ) ~Richard-Spencer, ~nibineko, and Lewis were there at Troc, and after meeting with them, and since I had no money to Para, we went off to get some steamed buns. ^^ On the way, we briefly bumped into ~KyogreNinja and his friends, but it was ver much a "Hi, Bye" situation, and we went to get buns. Then we went off to Euston. ^^ Since the shop the others needed was believed to be closed by the time we got there, the others walked me to my Ninjutsu Dojo; the name of which was described by some as 'win'. xD I do my Ninjutsu at 'The Place'! xD No word of a lie! ^w^

So, yes, I went to my Ninjutsu class again yesterday as an OFFICIAL member! ^^ I am now a proper Ninja (since thats the name of a student of Ninjutsu), but I am just a fledgeling, once again donning my old Shorinji Kempo white belt! I *did* wonder if I'd ever wear it again... Good thing I kept it! xD I am COVERED in bruises; its a hard wooden floor in contrast to the nice soft tatami mats we have in Kempo. I suppose it will force me to polish up my breakfalls to stop me hurting myself (will also help me polish up my ukemi for kempo as well! xD ) I also need to get past the blocking habits I have from Kempo; but thats half the reason I took another martial art. If I can learn to break habit and respond appropriately to each situation, then I can improve my way of thinking and actually use my brain rather than be a robot running on auto pilot. Also, its interesting to broaden my horizons and look into another art with different origins and different foundtions. ^^

Also, thinking about it, since I start weapons training next week in Ninjutsu, I will learn how to handle a sword, bo staff and tanto, it will also help with my cosplay! I will learn the arts similar to that which Sasuke demonstrates in the Shippuden series; the ninjutsu and the sword wielding. It will make cosplay videos and some photos a little more believable.

I'm also having trouble with money... I've gone into my overdraft already, so next week from wednesday, for a fortnight, I won't be going out or doing anything besides my martial arts. That way, my debt and problems will be clear and sorted, and then on the 8th, that money will not be owed to anyone and I will be clear again. ^^

Thats about the long (V. long... @_@ ) and short of it all, so until next journal;

2. Which one has been the most hassle for you?

Its a battle between Nero and Saix, mostly on weapons stakes. xD Nero; I had a glue meltdown with the styrofoam in the handle fitting and had to patch a massive hole that melted in the side! I was determined not to have to start again after cutting and shaping the blade! xD I managed in the end! And Saix, I had a few paintFAILs. =_= Ran out of white, went and got more of all colours in bigger cans, then I had trouble with ALL the masking tape I used; WELL over 50m was used up. And then I spent one night til 3am doing touchups with white emulsion so it had time to dry by the next day (all 16 hours... x_x )

3. Which has been the most hassle for someone else?

Prkobably Saix and the rest of my KH gang. Since ~Eamilijah handles the wigs for us in ~Mugen-wa-Ikimasu, she had the responsibility and the trouble dealing with the difficult shaping! Many thanks to her for that, and in return, when I get some more fibreglass, I shall be repairing her Chakrams! ^^
